NBA.com Intern having Fun with NBA Leaguepass?

I was watching an basketball game yesterday with NBA Leaguepass. To be more precise it was Portland TrailBlazers @ Cleveland Cavaliers, not an extraordinary game but still a good one in case anybody is interested.
Anyways, the game was over and normally I should have seen something like a blue screen saying “you game is starting shortly” as the games are streamed over and over again for 24 hours after the game has end. Instead I see the screen you see on the left.

30000 Spams and Counting

I made a knot in my toe not to forget to write about it when it happens but still …
About a week ago my blog reached the Akismet spam count of 30.000 (you can find the current number at the bottom of the right sidebar by the way.) A “proud” number but where does all that spam come from? I can only agree to the numbers from the official Akismet Zeitgeist that you see on the left: More than 84% of the comments are spam. While toying around with the flash maps from ammap.com I tried to create an interactive map that groups all countries by their respective timezones and automatically displays the current time each of them. I did not finalize all the little difficulties with it as I did not have a customer for it but I have to say that the flexibility that ammap provides is very impressive.
